Affectionately known throughout the music industry as “Mama Jan,” Jan Smith has made her mark from her beloved hometown over the past 20 years as a singer/songwriter, producer/consultant and vocal coach/vocal producer who has helped develop some of the most distinctive voices in contemporary music-including Rob Thomas, Usher, Ciara, Sugarland, India.Arie, TLC, Justin Bieber and independent artists such as Royale.

Teddy Riley, Blackstreet and Shanti Das presented first annual “No Reservations Needed,” a day of serving and giving at the Atlanta Mission. On Wednesday, November 21st Royale had the pleasure of helping serve nearly 500 homeless men at the mission. On hand to support was Mayor Kasim Reed, President City Council – Ceasar Mitchell, Councilman District 2 – Kwanza Hall and celebrities Teddy Riley and Trina Braxton. Special thanks to Kwanza Hall, Jay Tribby, Ivan Rouse (Atlanta Mission), V-103 (Reggie Rouse, Barbara Williams, Mo Ivory, Ryan Cameron, Terry Bello, DJ Teknology and the entire staff) for their supporting in making this event a huge success!
